Swoogers Cruise-In; Kings Mountain, NC
We usually have between 50-80 cars each month. its not a show its just good holesome fun people come from all over to hang out .
There is great food ,ice cream, drinks, and good music to listen to, and lot of nice people to become friends with.
Hoola-hoopa contest for kids,50/50 drawings, swoogers cruise-in money, door prizes every 30 minutes. for the drawings you just register your car so we know how many cars show up, thats how the drawings are pulled. theres some vw toys,t-shirts,and collectibles each event usually.
Starts at 6:00 and ends at 9:00,any vw made or produced car will be allowed in the parking lot.

11: Charleston VW Drag Night; Greeleyville, SC
Come visit the low country of Charleston SC and join us for a day and night of VW drag racing and a car show. We will have a minimum of 2 classes of racing (Super Pro and Pro) with a guaranteed purse (Super Pro $500/$300 / Pro $300/$150) and free t-shirts for the first 30 registered racers. The car show will not be judged and there will be no fee to park your car in the show area. Camping will be allowed at the track. Time trials will begin at 2 pm with eliminations beginning at 6 pm. Midway Drag strip will be the host track and is located 12 miles off of I-95 near Manning SC. Sunday the 12th will be the rain date at the same location. Admission is $15 and entry fee for the race will be $25 Super Pro and $20 Pro.

Presented by The Vintage Volkswagen Association and VintageVW.Net
Show hours are 8 am to 4 pm
Located at 1655 Federal Dr.,the Alabama State Farmer's Market is next to the Coliseum and State Fairgrounds and a Hardee's is on the corner!
here will be Vendors and Swap spaces, Games for the Kids and best of all, COVERED PARKING for show vehicles! So Rain or Shine be there!
To be sure you get a space under the roof, you need to pre-register by emailing w_dykes@att.net We take Paypal or checks.
If you are staying over, check out hotels near I-85 exit 6.Everything is close by!
After the Meltdown, we will cruise into Montgomery for a local Cruise-In Nite at Flip's Grill at the corner of Vaughn and Taylor Rds. We had a big turnout of VWs there in years past. It is open to all makes of vehicles.

13: Jingle Bugs Rock ; held at Old Town's Shopping, Dining, & Entertainment Complex located in beautiful Kissimmee, Florida. The times for this years event have been extended and will be between the hours of 12:00 and 6:00pm.
Last year, Old Town along with David Maus Volkswagen of Orlando and many other fine sponsors (see our Sponsors page), proudly sponsored this charity event to collect toys for the U.S. Marine Corps. Toys-for-Tots Christmas program. Every year, the U.S. Marine Corps. collects and distributes millions of toys to needy families in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
Because of the ever increasing popularity of the Volkswagen at Old Town, this event is open to all Volkswagens. it is intended to be a fun filled experience and as usual at Old Town, will be a non-judged show. The cars will be on display for all to see and there will be all types of activities for the family including a live band, children's entertainment with the Herbie The Love Bug displays, a best decorated holiday car event, Santa, and of course all of the normal rides and entertainment that is found at Old Town. We are also planning on expanding our vendor/swap meet area and possibly even having a car corral where you can find that special deal on a new or used V-dub...
