Presented by The Piedmont Transporter Owners, a NEATO chapter
An 1950-1979 bus show and swapmeet, so bring out that bucket or show
bus and all that Junk (treasures) that you've been storing throughout
the winter and have some fun!
gates open at 9am
Free admission for spectators,
$5 to show, includes swap if you are in an AC type 2.
$10 to swap if you are not in an AirCooled type 2
Restroom facilities will be available.

Rules: Please no skateboards, scooters, loud music or burnouts on show grounds.
Alcohol is permitted in the pub only, it is prohibited on show grounds!!!!
No large trailers.
Dogs are welcome so long as the dog is leashed at all times. Owners must remove all feces and ensure that the animal doesn't urinate on others peoples cars, parts and/or legs. Owners are heavily discouraged from bringing any aggressive dogs to the show.
Directions: From I-85 North & South - take I-85 to I-77, and then.....
From 77 NORTH - take exit 9C., Circle around to exit 1A - (Freedom Drive), Take a right at the light onto Morehead Street, Take a left at second light onto Cedar Street, at the top of the hill on your right!!
From 77 SOUTH - take exit 10A ( Morehead EXIT), Left at light onto Morehead Street, Left onto S. Cedar Street, at the top of the hill on your right!!

Here we go again the trip starts May 31, in Tampa Bay Florida, Heading North on I 75 to I 10 through Pensacola, FL. heading north through Alabama and Mississippi on US 49 to I 20 West

Into Louisiana we will be staying the night around Shreveport, LA

Then on to Dallas/Fort Worth then northwest on US 287 to Amarillo

Then West on I 40/Historic Route 66

Then it is on to the West coast. Stopping at various locations along historic route 66

Going through Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and arriving in California on Wednesday

For all the VW Classic Weekend events Thur. Drag Racing at Irwindale Speedway

Camping with the V.T.O at Black Star

Fri. the DKP Cruise Night (moved from Thursday night) and Lenny Copp’s open house at

West Coast Classics. Both of these activities take place in Fullerton.

7: DÜRTYFEST III: Wheels & Wings \\\ Atlanta /// Car & Air Show

- Brief Description:
European Auto Festival to be held at Peachtree Dekalb Airport in Atlanta, June 7th, with a two hour Air Show. Expected attendance of 13k! To register, visit: http://www.durtydubs.com

- Brief History:
Last year at DÜRTYFEST II: Road Atlanta, our track/show event got about 300 cars at the show side and 200 cars on the track side and about 1000 spectators and a good 25 sponsors, including 8 major corporations including AutoTrader.com, Puma, Panoz, Road Atlanta, NOPI, BBS, Hella and Budweiser. This year with our "Wheels & Wings" theme, total expected attendance is 13 thousand people. We're trying our hand at something different and think this will expose us our love for VWs to many a new face.

Schedule:
SATURDAY is the Car & Air Show.
SUNDAY is a picnic at Stone Mountain.
The rest, Thurs. Fri. & Sun., are dinners and after parties.

Hey all Type 14 and Type 34 VW Karmann Ghia owners. Drive, tow or drag your Stock, Custom, Modified, Daily Driver, Work in Progress Ghias and join in all the fun as we fill Stone Mountain Park with as many Ghias as possible. Take part in the fun, food, fellowship, and the awesome beauty of the many Karmann Ghias and Stone Mountain Park. Enjoy the park's Historic Carving, Antique Auto Museum, Railway, Lake, Cable Car to the top of the mountain, 4D theater and evening Laser Light Show.
$20.00 Pre-registration fee. $30.00 day of show. Four classes for registration. STOCK - original equipment, modified - 0 to 7 changes, CUSTOM - 8 + changes, DAILY DRIVER. Trophies, door prizes and 50/50 drawing. A
cruise around Stone Mountain Park after the show.

This year the Thing show has been moved to a new location after 15 years in Asheville N.C. This is a judged show at a motel. Reservations can be made at Quality Inn Bardstown KY. 502 348 9253. Rates are $65.00 plus tax.

Plans at this time are Fri night we will have an Ice Cream Social, Sat show, Sun breakfast drive and have everyone on their way home by noon on Sun. The Thing Shop will be here with all the goodies. The Vintage Volkswagen Association and VintageVW.Net present the 7th Annual VW Meltdown on Sat.,July 26th.

Show hours are 8 am to 4 pm.
Located at 1655 Federal Dr.,the Alabama State Farmer's Market is next to the Coliseum and State Fairgrounds and a Hardee's is on the corner!
There will be Vendors and Swap spaces, Games for the Kids and best of all, COVERED PARKING for show vehicles! So Rain or Shine be there!
